Gender Equality

While many may think that gender equality does not matter because it does not apply or affect them, it should matter to everyone. Males and Females should always be considered equal. Women can do anything men can do, and everyone deserves equal rights. Currently our nation is lacking a great amount of equality between men and women. Whether it is in jobs, daily activities or anything involving the competition of a man and a woman it never feels as if we are being treated the same. There needs to be a bigger change in gender equality.

Main issues of gender inequality:

• The wage gap between females and males.
• Sexual harrasment in the work place & other places.
• Less promotions and opportunities for women who work in a majorty male field.
